Delivery options

When ordering a 40ft refrigerated shipping container, our delivery process is designed for precision and efficiency. We use two truck types based on your site conditions:

• Tilt-bed truck
  Ideal for easy offloading, it requires 125ft of straight clear space, 12ft width, and 16ft vertical clearance.
• Flatbed truck
  Suitable for locations with on-site equipment like a forklift for unloading. This option requires 65ft of straight clear space, 12ft width, and 14ft vertical clearance, and side access to pick up the container. You can use a 15,000 lb forklift to lift the entire container from the truck.

Before delivery, ensure your site has enough room for the truck to maneuver. Containers can be placed in various locations, but the delivery truck needs adequate space to operate efficiently.

• Delivery time
  Once your container is ready to be dispatched, delivery is usually within 1-3 business days, depending on location.
• Access requirements
  Clear delivery path free of obstructions like trees or power lines.
• Site prep
  We only need room to make the delivery without getting stuck; containers can go anywhere on your site.
• Ground conditions
  Preferably, the ground should be dry. Notify us if the ground is wet or muddy so we can plan accordingly and prevent the truck from getting stuck.

Warranty details

Every used 40ft Refrigerated Storage Container we sell comes with warranty coverage for both the container structure and the refrigeration machinery.

Container Warranty

• The container shell, including the structural frame, walls, roof, and doors, is covered by a 5-year limited warranty.
• This warranty protects against structural defects and corrosion under normal operating conditions.

Refrigeration Machinery Warranty

• The refrigeration machinery is backed by a 6-month limited warranty.
• Coverage includes the compressor, condenser coil, evaporator coil, electrical control system, and other major refrigeration components.

Warranty Details

• Routine maintenance, consumable parts (such as door gaskets or light bulbs), and damage caused by misuse, accident, or external factors are excluded from warranty coverage.
• Refrigeration machinery warranty service support is available through Conexwest or authorized service partners.
• Optional extended service plans are available upon request.
